Banana Khakhara
Ingredients:
- 1¼ cup wheat flour
- 2 TBSP oil
- ½ TSP Coram/Ajwain powder
- ½ TSP red chilli powder
- ½ TSP turmeric powder
- Salt to taste (Approximately 1 TSP)
- 1 Banana
- Add wheat flour, Coram powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in one mixing bowl. Mix it well.
- Add oil in it. Mix it well.
- Make pieces of banana and add it in flour mixture. Mash it well.
- Make soft to hard dough out of it. Cover it and let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Divide dough in 14 equal portions and make balls of it.
- Roll each portion and spread it 6-7 inch.
- Now keep it in khakhra or roti maker for a minute. turn it in between once.
- If you don't have khakhra/roti maker at home then you can roast it on gas also as show in below video. It is bit time consuming and requires quite some efforts.
Yummy khakhras are ready to eat. It would taste best with garlic or peanuts dry chutney.
