Shakkar Para
Ingredients:
- 1½ cup all purpose flour
- 2 TBSP ghee
- ¼ cup milk
- 3 TBS sugar
- 1 TBS semolina
- Salt to taste (Approximately ½ TSP)
- Oil to fry
Directions:
- Add sugar in milk and heat it for 5 minute. Cool it till it reaches room temperature.
- Add all purpose flour, semolina and salt in one mixing bowl. Mix it well.
- Add ghee in it. Mix it well.
- Add sugary milk in it and make soft dough out of it. Add additional milk if needed. Let the dough rest for 10-15 min.
- Side by side heat oil in pan for deep frying
- Divide dough in 4 equal portions and make balls of it.
- Roll each portion and spread it approximately to 6 inch. Dont make it too thin.
- Cut it into diamond shape.
- Deep fry it till it becomes golden brown.
- Its ready to eat
