Banana Thepla

Ingredients:
  1. 1¼ cup wheat flour
  2. 2 TBSP oil
  3. ½ TSP Coram/Ajwain powder
  4. ½ TSP red chilli powder
  5. ½ TSP turmeric powder
  6. Salt to taste (Approximately 1 TSP)
  7. 1 Banana

Directions:


  • Add wheat flour, Coram powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in one mixing bowl. Mix it well.
  • Add oil in it. Mix it well.
  • Make pieces of banana and add it in flour mixture. Mash it well.
  • Make soft dough out of it. Cover it and let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.



  • Divide dough in 14 equal portions and make balls of it.
  • Roll each portion and spread it 5-6 inch.



  • Cook each one with little oil/butter till it becomes golden brown on both sides
Yummy theplas are ready to eat. You can eat it with any chutteny /subaji           /pickle
